First of all, make sure that when people full view your image, that it doesnt run off the screen to the left or right. In this picture, (for future reference) the swan and tree are placed well, but the horizon is in the very center of the page. thats not good. Do you know about the rule of thirds for photography? it applies just as well to other art. gj with the colors and the sky.....but know that (if you intended this or not) you created a flat two dimensional sky. to add dept, use heavier brush strokes near, and very lgith and fine strokes for the distance (like you did with the grass).

who said that rules and depth are what define art...thanks...

With art, there are no rules, there are only techniques that have been proven over time to improve a piece. It is very hard to pull off having your point of focus in the absolute center, or your horizon (some people can do it, but they have to know what they are doing, or they fall on they're doing). and depth...heh, well, if you want to disregard the importance of depth with your artwork, try potter, i think you will be very successful.

Very pretty colors, and much better than anything that I can do, so feel free to disregard this comment if you wish but --

I agree with ~noah06 on that the horizon shouldn't be centered. I've taken photographs with a centered horizon and they didn't come out as good as they could have potentially been.

I really like the colors! Really really like the sky! Great job! Eh, art rules are overrated :-D

Without the pink paper crane the grass would conflict with the sky but with it... It becomes the focal point! This is really wonderful, a great idea and awesome colors. Very nice .
